Bajaj Alternate Investment Management Limited With nearly two decades of experience across global investment banks and leading Indian financial institutions, Saurabh has built and led high-performing investment and proprietary trading teams. His expertise spans quantitative investing, systematic research, long-short equity, derivatives, options, structured products and portfolio risk management. Prior to joining Bajaj Alternate Investment Management Limited, Saurabh was the Head of Proprietary Trading at Bajaj Financial Securities Limited, where he established and led the firm’s Multi-Strategy Trading Group, with a focus on quantitative investing, long-short equity and derivatives-based strategies.

Earlier, he served as Head – India Trading & Investments at Phillip Capital India Pvt. Ltd. (formerly MF Global India), where he spent fourteen years building and managing the firm’s proprietary investment business.

Saurabh began his career with Barclays Capital, Singapore, where he worked in the Interest Rate Exotics & Structured Products business, gaining international experience in derivatives trading, structured investments and quantitative risk management. At Bajaj Alts, Saurabh’s investment philosophy combines quantitative research, technology and disciplined portfolio construction to deliver consistent long-term alpha.

Saurabh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
